Our Story

Our Story

This Trust was formed in 2004 when a public meeting was held for people interested in 'arty things'. From that original get together it was decided to form an Arts Trust, and an exciting time has followed.

One of the first things we did was to have a competition to choose a logo, which was where the 'edge of the world' began.  

 We have a number of annual events as well as a variety of workshops held by skilled tutors during the year, and are always on the lookout for new and interesting things to bring to our community.

Our work in the community was acknowledged in 2013, when our organisation was named the TrustPower Community Awards Regional Winner of the Arts and Culture section.

​New members to our organisation are always welcome.
